- Grew well in Melbourne Australia Review by John
High Rarity Value Quality
This strain grew very well in a 12 inch tub indoors next to a north facing window. Only grew about two feet tall, was very healthy, and filled the room withe a pleasant fresh scent. I got enough bud to fill a large coffee jar. Will grow again. (Posted on 11/27/2019)
- If I could grow but one medicinal plant it would be RQS Royal Medic Review by Jay
Value Quality High Rarity
It was Joyce Kilmer who said, "I think that I shall never see a poem pretty as a tree". There has been some controversy as to what tree Kilmer was looking at when he wrote his Epic American Poem. Personally I like to think he was looking at one of Royal Queen Seeds Royal Medic Marijuana plants. If that be the case he would have had a few hits as well. And he would have been inspired....
I have delayed the writing of this review for some time now. There have been a few reasons for my delay but the biggest reason is my inability to find the "larger than life itself" words that this strain deserves. In a sentence and by all means you can quote me, I THINK THAT I SHALL NEVER SEE MY FULL SEASON GARDEN GROW WITHOUT A FULL COMPLIMENT OF RQS ROYAL MEDIC.
I have inhaled many a variety of different quality cannabis. There is but one other that I found to be so perfect for its pain relieving, what I call, "body high", qualities. One that permits the patient to catch that medicinal buzz yet remain clear and focused cerebrally. However, MOB is an exclusive to the Great State of Maine and I have been unable to get my hands on it either in a sac or in some grow gel. Finding Royal Medic was like finding that proverbial Pot (pardon the pun) at the End of the rainbow! If you are a pain and inflammation sufferer Please take my word, waste no more time and find yourself some.
Royal Medics’ effects are not a huge surprise as she carries one serious pedigree. I mean everybody has had and or heard of “Critical” right? Known for its massive yield, strong hearty structure, and wicked high THC counts. It’s probably best knowns as “The Shit that Killed Elvis”! Early in this grow (Summer 2014) I loosely researched the “Juanita la Lagrimosa” strain. More commonly known as “Jane’s Tears”, her part in this Steamy Spanish equation intrigued me with her sanctioned medical pedigree and the tales of her soothing powers that have become legend. Her THC levels lower but a Midi-chlorian load that is off the proverbial chain. It soon became obvious, she was the one for me, the one I wanted, and I had to have her. What I needed to know was Why Tears of Anything? I mean who needs tears? Been there, done that, ain’t going back to tear land, Fuk Ya very much!
There are always lots of variables to consider, climate, soil, water when deciding which strain to grow. You can read about all my grow conditions at http://forum.howtogrowmarijuana.com/member/99378-jimmythesaint. As for good taste, both initial and during the exhale or finish remain damn important to this grower. RQS Royal Medic has a nutty Afghani Finger Hash flavor and the fruity Undertones remain. I’m talking, if they gave stars out for Reefer Taste like they do restaurants Royal medic would be Five Star cuisine.
Within seconds of my first bonger I knew I had found my Queen. Like Benjamin Franklin deciding that the sun on the headrest of George Washington’s’ chair was not a setting, but a rising sun, the Tears from this Sweet, Seductive, Sativa Señorita of Spain are Tears of JOY. The kind of Joy one feels when chronic pain temporarily subsides enough to contemplate the rest of life’s challenges.
